PVC Mounting Kit

for Cape Cod Wind Speed and/or Wind Direction roof-units

This solid PVC extension can be used to extend the roof-top transmitters an additional foot or so above the roof-line. It is designed to attach to the rake boards at the end of the peak (see image below left) using two lag bolts (supplied). The transmitters bolt to the top of the PVC mounting using the standard L-shaped mounting brackets supplied with the instruments.

The PVC mounting measures 18" tall by 3.5" wide, and is .75" deep at the top and 2.25" deep at the base. The mounting is white, but can be painted to match the existing trim. All the necessary hardware (stainless steel) is included.
